¿How do racism against Afro Latinos examples compare to the experience of AfroColombians, particularly Costeños?
The experiences between Afro Latinos and AfroColombians are similar. It is not a secret that Afrodescendents are in all types of disadvantage regarding "White People".
Afrodescendents have to endure hardwork, hunger, poverty, lack of education and bad salaries, all of this due to racial exclusion.
It's time to take part in the solution of this social problem, the world has to be concious and fight against segregation.
We all are human and we can help each other with small details that make the difference. Specially if it is for a silly but powerful reason: DISCRIMINATION.
I agree with you, Andrea. I think afrocolombians should be respected by the society because we are all humans, not matter the skin-color, opinion, religion, and those things make us different but not less than others. In my opinion we are all the same, with the same rights and values and we should avoid discrimination and racisms.
